Barry Optical is a 2^nd generation family owned business established in 1948 and now celebrating 50 years in business. We are an Optical wholesale lab that custom grinds optical lenses for the Eyeglass industry. Our primary customers are Opticians, Optometrists and Ophthalmologists. We pride ourselves on service and quality. We custom make all types of lenses and materials such as Progressive lenses (bifocals without the lines). Transitions^®, Polycarbonate and High Index Materials as well as standard plastic and glass. We also provide anti reflection coating on the premises. The name of our coating is QUANTUM and is one of the finest in the industry. Our laboratory is highly computerized utilizing the latest technology and machinery. We employ 75 dedicated people, all trained to maintain our highest standards of quality accompanied with fast turnaround and delivery time. We are an authorized Varilux^® laboratory and are proud to be the nationwide winner of the 1995 and 1997 Varilux^® award for outstanding performance. Varilux^® Progressive lenses are the finest in the industry.
